January 16th at Haven brings us a stacked lineup from overseas and some of the best to do it out of Australia featuring Jex Opolis and Aldonna who are taking the world by storm with absolute dance floor crushing tunes uplifted in euphoria. This will be one for the books and not to be missed.

Haven positions itself as a one-of-a-kind temporary venue where people can celebrate music and connect with their community before the building is inevitably redeveloped. The entire space is built entirely with salvaged materials; a nod to the space's transient nature. The impermanence of the space becomes part of its power, building urgency and turning each night of unique programming into a rarity.

The venues story is also shaped by the history of the building. An old Woolworths site now being transformed into a venue for culture.

The installation led by Oliver Buckworth, Katsu Yokoyama and Zelimir Harasty takes guests to a street scene in a densely populated city, where culture, sound and life overlap. There’s traces of Kowloon city, 80’s anime, Wong Kar Wai films and Tokyo listening bar culture.

Tickets are limited and expected to move very quickly. Info on the artists below.

We acknowledge the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this event takes place. We recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community, and we pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present. We also extend that respect to all First Nations people in attendanc
