Hawkesbury Head to Health launch

Please join Neami National and the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (PHN) at the launch of the Hawkesbury Head to Health satellite service.
We're excited to welcome The Hon Emma McBride – Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health, who will officially open the purpose-built centre, and Susan Templeman, MP for Macquarie and Special Envoy for the Arts.
Following a special Welcome to Country with Melissa Stubbings and Smoking Ceremony with Shane Laws, we'll also hear from:
- Ashlee Phillips, Peer Support Worker at Neami National’s Penrith Head to Health
- Lizz Reay, CEO of the Nepean Blue Mountains PHN
- Tom Dalton, CEO of Neami National
There will be an opportunity to tour the new centre on the day and morning tea will be provided. A photographer will be capturing moments throughout the event.

What is Hawkesbury Head to Health?
Hawkesbury Head to Health is a free and confidential service offering caring, friendly, and inclusive support for people who are experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed or are worried about themselves or someone they care about.
No referral is needed.
The service will provide:
- immediate help to reduce distress
- help to safely cope with thoughts of suicide
- help to navigate through a crisis
- support to improve wellbeing
- help to connect with ongoing support.
