Hayball: Workshop (Ages 6-16)

Join us in the Museums Discovery Centre for a hands-on workshop to create a cardboard eco-city with Hayball!
Participants will first collectively brainstorm their aspirations and ideas for a more sustainable city, including ideas relating to transport, ecology, building and health.
Then they will create a collective masterplan vision and work together to build their ideas into a large-scale cardboard city using recycled materials such as cardboard and offcuts.
Hayball is one of Australia’s largest design practices, integrating architecture, interior design, and urban design expertise.
Recommended for ages 6–16. All materials will be supplied.
This workshop is free, but bookings are essential as places are limited.
This is a family workshops and parental supervision is required. Please register tickets for children and at least one adult.
