Please note pre-ordered dinner is closed. We encourage folks to eat beforehand! 

November 8th, join hundreds of other leaders from across the Hunter in deliberation, listening, commitment and action. The goal of the evening is to build momentum towards the Founding Assembly in April 2024. 

Organised people: Organised on tables, the evening will include time with your organisation's delegation and times mixed with the diversity of the HCA. You will be invited to make commitments for turnout to the Founding Assembly.

Organised policies: You’ll hear stories about, share and deliberate on the issues of the HCA’s common good agenda: affordable & social housing, the energy transition, community benefit agreements and royalties. Together we will endorse the agenda to take to Founding.  

Organised politics: This year, the HCA is engaging local decision-makers to support the HCA calls for action so that next year the HCA can call upon statewide and national leaders.(The Alliance is a non-partisan organisation that does not accept government money.)  

… And we will celebrate the milestones and victories to date.

Logistics:

• • The nearest train station is the Newcastle Interchange
  • There can be limited street parking, nearest parking station is the Newcastle Interchange an 8-minute walk from the station.
  • The car park at the venue will be reserved for accessible parking (register your vehicle on the following page)
    
• The meeting will start on time at 6:15pm and finish promptly at 8:15pm

FAQ:

• Can I participate if I am not a member of an organisation to participate?

Yes, individuals will be invited to join the Friends of the HCA. Friends of the HCA make a modest financial contribution and commit to the values of the organisation. The plan is to have friends of the HCA set up ready for Founding in April 2024, we will invite Friends to help set up the network.

• My organisation isn't yet a member of the HCA, can I participate?

Yes, one of the goals of the Delegates Assembly is to provide an opportunity for new organisations to connect with the work of the Alliance.

• I am participating at National Training at Kurri Kurri between Nov 5th-10th, do I need to register?

Yes please!
