Notice is hereby given to all Members of the HCAA that our Adelaide July General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 16 July 2024, commencing 5.30pm at the Adelaide Pavilion.

5:30pm sharp: General Meeting opens

6pm: Welcome and Committee Report

6.20pm: General Meeting closes. A chance to socialise


6.30pm-6.50pm

Presenter: Ross Jones, Built Water Solutions 

Topic: Water Quality Issues and Filtrations Systems

Ross Jones from Built Water Solutions will be presentation on Hot, Cold & Warm Hydraulic systems design for bacterial control and growth minimisation and the introduction in SA of Monochloramine and the issues we will face.

    7-7.20pm

    Presenter: Scott Allan, Studor

    Topic: AAV’s and pressure attenuators 

    Scott will be giving us an update on Studor's AAV's and pressure attenuators, providing information on their installation into high rise stack drainage, design flexibility advantages and cost comparisons to other venting methods.

      7.30-7.50pm:

      Presenter: Joshua Knight, the Office of Technical Regulator 

      Topic: Recent NCC potential changes

      Joshua will be presenting from the recent NCC seminar, updating us on potential changes that will effect hot water plant room consideration.

      8pm Meeting closes and time to socialise.  

      Additional information:

      Food and drinks will be provided please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

      Bookings will close on Tuesday 09 July or earlier if venue reaches capacity. 

      You need to attend on the night to get your CPD points not just register.
