Join the Health Consumers' Council (HCC) for our 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM), an important opportunity to connect, reflect, and engage with us.

We are delighted this year to be joined by WA Health’s new Director General Dr Shirley Bowen (photographed below), who will give an address before the formal proceedings. Dr Bowen took on the role of Director General in May 2024 and this is an opportunity to hear from her directly about her priorities and vision for healthcare in WA.

Mallika Macleod, HCC’s Chairperson will oversee the AGM official business, which will include:

Introduction to AGM
Annual and Financial report
Motion to reappoint auditors
The welcoming and election of new Management Committee members

This is a hybrid event. You can join us in person, or online.

Health Consumers' Council - Unit 4, 434 Lord St, Mount Lawley.

Registrations from 4:00pm for a 4:30pm start. Light refreshments will be served.

Parking: There is some free parking in front of our offices and free street parking on West Parade. If you require accessible parking, please contact us so we can reserve a space for you.

Public transport: The nearest train stations are East Perth and Mount Lawley. We are on bus routes 41, 42 and 48, the stop is "Guildford Road, before Park Road".

*HCC welcomes wearing face masks and we will have masks available at this event. We also have high quality air filters in the room.

If you are a Health Consumers' Council member and are unable to attend, you can still have your say via a proxy vote. Please keep an eye out for an AGM email pack with all the details for how to register your proxy.

All are welcome
