Event description

We’re excited to welcome Sandy Thomson, Director of Governance Plus, as our guest speaker at our next Consumer, Carer and Change Maker Morning Tea and Networking event.

Sandy will be speaking on Standard 2 – Partnering with Consumers from the NSQHS Standards, sharing her insights into the vital role consumer engagement plays in the accreditation process, plus touching on some recently released standards, and those currently in development.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from a leader in health governance about how consumer voices are influencing accreditation and helping shape safer, more person-centred care. We hope Sandy’s presentation inspires our network to explore new ways to get involved and make a difference.

Plus, you will hear updates from the Health Consumers’ Council WA, meet the HCCWA team and have the chance to connect with peers.

Whether you're just starting out or have been active in consumer representation for some time, everyone is welcome to join us for this event and be part of the conversation.

This is a hybrid event and will be held in person in our office in Mount Lawley and via Zoom.
