GR Expansivity Program 2024 - Macquarie Incubator & GRA Module 1

EXPANSIVITY is designed to equip you with creative thinking skills and knowledge to succeed in both the academic and professional world.

Consisting of four modules that focus on developing essential tools and techniques to cultivate a creative outlook to your research and beyond, with feedback and support from the facilitator and peers as you develop your skills.

Designed around interactive exercises, group discussions, and real-life case studies, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how to develop a design-thinking approach to your research projects, harness an entrepreneurial mindset to drive innovation, and use self-reflection to continuously improve your work.

Module One: Design Think your GR Toolkit is all about design thinking. 

Practice real design thinking to approach problems more creatively

You’ll learn all about the buzz of design thinking by doing a full design round with your peers. It’s a full-on learning-on-the-job experience that will get you thinking about your GR journey from the inside out: using empathy to understand common pain points and ideating ways to solve them.

Workshop 1 - Wednesday 8th May 10:00am to 2:30pm

Workshop 2 - Wednesday 15th May 10:00am to 2:30pm

Please register once only for the 8th May workshop when prompted, and you will also be automatically included in communications about workshop 2 on the 15th May!

A light lunch will be supplied. We encourage you to network with peers from across the Faculties during lunch.
