HE KĀRI AROHA
Description
Come together at Te Whare Tapere to create, share kōrero and make Kirihimete cards for whānau and our wider hapori.
Make cards to take home and to share with kaumātua living in residential care or receiving care in hospital. Through creativity and handwritten messages, we’ll share aroha and celebrate Kirihimete with our community.
All ages welcome, all materials provided, and no experience needed. Tamariki under 10 must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.
We’ll gather the cards made for kaumātua and arrange their delivery in time for Kirihimete.
Open session—drop in anytime. No bookings required.
Can’t make the session but would love to contribute? You’re welcome to make cards at home and drop them off at Te Whare Tapere, Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–4pm, by 17 December.
