About Us

MSCA (sounds like MISS-kuh) is a registered charity serving the community as the national NFP, member-based representative body for Montessori schools and centres. MSCA is the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Affiliated Society for Australia.

Since our inception, we have established an annual series of in-person and online events that engage and inspire the Australian Montessori community. They’ve set themselves apart as ones people don't want to miss! These events provide professional development, inspirational thought leadership, parent education, and opportunities for various community stakeholders to connect, collaborate and educate each other.

Online Events

Each year, we hold at least 25 to 30 online events with an average annual attendance of nearly 700 leaders, educators, parents and others within the Montessori community and beyond. These events, including webinars, workshops, and networking groups, connect principals, educators, owner-operators, parents, board directors, and thought leaders, fostering a collaborative environment for growth and development in the education sector.

In-Person Events

We also host three in-person events annually: two small, dedicated forums for school principals and adolescent (secondary) educators, and the Grassroots Conference, which is our biggest event of the year for all Montessori educators and leaders.
