Due to the security requirements at Parliament House, there are several important steps that you need to be aware of prior to the event, please familiarise yourself with the below information.

You must:

Bring photo ID (of some kind) such as a drivers licence or passport to be granted access to the event.
Please arrive between 8 to 8:30am to allow time for the security staff at Parliament House to check you in and escort you to the event location

Once you arrive:

Enter through the main entry to Parliament House and proceed through the security check.
Locate the Concierge Desk to pickup your security pass. The staff at the Concierge desk have been advised of all registered Head to Hill attendees and will be expecting you.
Once you have a security pass please look for the Brain Tumour Alliance (BTAA) Banner, or sign, in the lobby where you will find BTAA committee members (Phil and Billy) who will organise you into groups of 10 and will liaise with Parliamentary staff to chaperone you to the Courtyard venue.
Only groups of 10 can be taken to and from the Courtyard by Parliamentary staff . You must be escorted and not transit around Parliament House unaccompanied by Parliament staff.
Once you arrive at the Courtyard you will be greeted by more BTAA Committee members who will welcome you and give you further directions

Please note:

Visitors must comply with any reasonable directions given by a Parliamentary Security Service Officer or member of the Australian Federal Police.
No smoking or vaping is allowed in any area of the Parliament including the courtyards where the event is being held.
Please note that media will be in attendance at this event and your image may be captured and used in future publications.
