Event description
We invite all emerging and established artists to enter this competition by painting your interpretation of a portrait of an Australian celebrity or local hero. Celebrity names & images will be provided here or you can choose your own.
Prize money worth $1200 to be won!
1st Prize: $600
2nd Prize: $350
3rd Prize: $250
Top 40 Finalists will be selected by a Judging Panel and exhibited in our ArtSpace Gallery during December 2020 and January 2021.

All Artwork: 30cm min or 90cm at longest side
Medium: Portrait Painting on canvas, collage or photo realism accepted
Entry fees: $25 per entry (non-refundable) + 25% commission on sales, $10 per entry for Refugee and people seeking Asylum
Registration: Apply early so that you don’t miss out and we can promote your work via our website social media leading up to the exhibition.

3 steps to your application:
1. Payment invoice is received via Humanitix.
2. Complete your application form.
3. Print a copy if your application, which will be emailed to you after it has been submitted. Bring it with you when you deliver your artwork as proof of payment.
