Headz are Rolling pres. Jungle Bells 4 with Digital (UK, Function Records)

Ho Ho Bo - SelektahIt’s that time of the year where amens fill the air, the bass drops heavier than a fat man falling down a chimney and we all pullback and rewind. That’s right that ol’ Christmas cracker of a night Jungle Bells IV is here.’Tis the season to be thumpin’ out breaks, where we're decking the halls with beats and deep bass that could turn Santa into a bad boi. Even the big fella himself would drop his milk and cookies to join the dance floor. This party will be so lit, it’ll melt Frosty’s heart. The beats are as fresh as a just-baked batch of gingerbread cookies, and the bass goes deeper than Santa's naughty list.Jingle all the way to the drop because as always the stocking is full of local legends stacked high, but we got another present that we can’t wait to open…. And it’d be Rudolf us not to announce that this year, coz we all been good little boys and girls, we have an international headliner!! And with productions on Metalheadz, Timeless, Moving Shadows, 31 Recs, Renegade Hardware and Function Records - he is an absolute don of the scene. That’s right we have DIGITAL - so let’s chuck analog on the fire and settle in for a yuletide of vibes.

His signature bass-lines & radicalized dubbed out sounds reach back to his childhood seeing his Father run his own sound-system for nearly thirty years in Ipswich, UK. The moniker ‘Digital’ was given to Steve by the Ashanti Sound system, immediately recognizing his technical ability operating a sound system at the age of 14 while also relating the moniker to the future, his youth and the emergence of the digital age. It wasn’t long before Digital used his dad's sound-system on his own, in 1991, with the ‘rave scene’ growing in & around Ipswich he started to hire-out the system to various promoters, noticeably Danny C who he befriended through their love of music and raving. This is when he really got interested in the rave scene and its music triggering his curiosity that drew his attention to production…
