Event description

Join us for an evening dedicated to raise funds for flood-affected families in Bangladesh and those suffering in unimaginable ways in G#z@, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Activities include:

  • A guided meditation led by @melansoulflower
  • Henna tattoos by @amad.mahbub
  • Musical performances by @azaanrk and @alaa.abdulbaki
  • A critical teach-in on Bangladesh's overarching history, what we can learn from the recent student uprising, and how we can apply those principles to show up better for the communities that need us right now.

If you cannot attend the event, we still urge you to donate to the fundraiser: a $5 donation for each cause is enough to save a family in urgent need of assistance.

Donations can be sent via Venmo and Cashapp to $hennamad. Every receipt will be shared so you know exactly where your donations are going.

Let's heal, learn, and show up for our siblings.

Ministry of Neteru (MoN) Temple is a community dedicated to healing, spirituality, and deep connection with Mother Earth and our Ancestors. We as a collective are deeply rooted in spritual activism. We believe we each have a sacred duty to our kin across the world to fight for collective liberation. No one is free until we all are free. Everything that is playing out abroad is a not only a lesson, but a warning of what can happen anywhere, to anyone, under our current oppressive systems.
