Healing Country with Fire
Description
Why is fire so important for water, land, people and animals? How can fire help landholders manage their land and increase productivity?
Join Courtney Hunter-Hebberman, Peramangk custodian, cultural educator, and fire practitioner, to hear all about healing country and people. Listen to stories and reconnect with your inner senses to feel connection to the land.
We will start with a presentation at Gawler Environment Centre then proceed to Dead Man's Pass Reserve to walk and learn about plants and landscapes. Lunch will then be provided in the park.
Please let us know if you can't make it on the day to give others an opportunity to join in and for catering purposes.
Location: Meet at Gawler Environment Centre, 8 Main North Rd Gawler, for presentation then proceed to Dead Man's Pass Reserve for walk and talk (please contact us if you need transport)

(Sliding scale pricing is a flexible payment system where the cost of a ticket varies based on a person’s income or ability to pay, making it more accessible to a wider range of people. It allows participants to choose a price within a set range that works for them).
