    About Jacquie:
Jacquie is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked in mental health for 18 years. She completed her doctoral degree and training in the San Francisco Bay Area and recently moved to Brisbane, Australia in 2023.

Jacquie’s work is informed by several modalities including IFS, EMDR, Psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness/Buddhist philosophy. The beginning of her career, where she worked in public mental health, was inspired by the motivation to work with diverse and underserved populations. In 2019, Jacquie transitioned to private practice with a specialisation in trauma and associated diagnoses such as grief, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. Jacquie is passionate about working from a holistic perspective combining traditional talk therapy with a relational and somatic focus, while utilising mindfulness and compassion to foster the client’s self-awareness and healthy relationship to self.

Jacquie’s psychedelic training includes courses offered by Sage Institute, Fluence, Healing Realms, and Polaris Insight Center for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD by Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), and Psychedelic Somatic Institute. She is passionate about the potential of psychedelics to assist in the healing process and supporting other therapists who work with these powerful tools. In addition to direct client care, Jacquie has also worked as a clinical supervisor working individually with psychology students and leads a peer consultation group for clinicians who specialise in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

Outside of her psychologist career, Jacquie is a partner and mother of 4 children and one dog. She regularly practices yoga and meditation, and is a creative who enjoys dance and engaging in fabric arts.
