✨Feel angry at God, religious leaders, or spiritual communities but don’t know what to do with that anger

What to expect

This online therapeutic support group creates a sanctuary where your experiences are validated and your voice is honoured. We’ll work through what therapist Hillary McBride calls “ Holy Hurt ”, the unique pain that comes from spiritual wounding.

You’ll discover practical, embodied healing strategies while being truly seen and witnessed by others who understand your journey. This isn’t about fixing your faith or returning to old beliefs, it’s about healing the wounds you carry and finding your own authentic path forward.

Group Details

This is a carefully curated, supportive community of women who recognize their need for healing and are ready to embrace inner transformation. Given the profound courage and vulnerability required to address spiritual trauma, we maintain a closed, confidential group structure. New members can only join during the first two weeks to preserve the safety and trust essential for deep healing work.

To honour the needs of sensitive, empathic, introverted, and neurodiverse participants, we limit attendance to a maximum of 6 women. This intimate size ensures everyone receives the attention and care they deserve. Women of all ages, life stages, faith and cultural backgrounds are warmly welcomed.

Program

This online therapeutic support group is designed for consistent participation in a safe container of support and runs weekly for 6-8 weeks (dependent on group needs). Together we will explore the following topics in conjunction with the chapters of the book Holy Hurt.

About Your Facilitator

I’m a soul healer and educator dedicated to supporting women’s emotional wellbeing and spiritual growth. I create transformative spaces through women’s circles, book groups, support groups, and retreats.

With 20 years of experience spanning education and community work, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to this healing journey. My qualifications include trauma-informed therapy, education, ministry, and counseling.

What makes this work deeply personal for me is my own lived experience with spiritual abuse, complex trauma, and chronic pain. I continue my own healing journey while walking alongside others toward places of greater peace and wholeness.

My approach honours both the sacred and the psychological, integrating therapeutic practices with spiritual wisdom to create space for authentic transformation.
