Health Consumer, Carer & Change Agent Networking | Djilba 24
Event description
Join us for a cuppa and a chat with your fellow consumer reps!
All consumers, carers and community members working with the health system as representatives, advisors and similar are welcome.
We will have some time to network and meet the other representatives in WA, a brief update on what we have been seeing in health and what HCC has been up to, and a group discussion.
- This session’s group discussion will focus on: what makes consumer representation valuable to you, how to ‘sell’ being a consumer representative to other community members, and what Health Services could be doing to make your role (as a consumer rep) more enjoyable and rewarding.
This will be run as a hybrid event - you can join in via Zoom or in-person at our roomy Mt Lawley training room (with heating and HEPA filter). We will have a dedicated host for whichever method you join. We encourage you to join us in-person if you are able to!
Registration will open at 9.45am with a light morning tea available. Our conversation will start at 10am and end at 12pm.
If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to email engagement@hconc.org.au or call: Country Callers 1800 620 780 | Phone (08) 9221 3422
