The Health Tech Challenge to be Solved

Hospitals and Health Services in Queensland face ongoing challenges such as inefficient clinical workflows, suboptimal bed management, fragmented communication, and the inability to analyse real-time data. These issues often result in delays, resource wastage, and compromised patient care.

The Health Tech ProtoComp aimed to tackle these challenges head-on, asking: How can we harness technology to transform hospital management systems, streamline operations, and elevate patient care? After 48 hours of brainstorming, workshops, and pitches at the Program's Hackathon, four teams were selected to continue refining their ideas over 10-weeks.
