Catalyst Grant Scheme Impact Showcase
What happens when promising ideas are given the support to create real-world impact?
Join us for an inspiring showcase celebrating the projects funded through the Health Translation SA Catalyst Grant Scheme during its first three years.
Meet the researchers behind Catalyst-funded projects and hear how this grant scheme has helped accelerate research translation, foster meaningful collaborations, and deliver tangible benefits for patients, consumers, and communities.
Whether you're a researcher, clinician, consumer partner, health leader, funding organisation or stakeholder with an interest in health innovation, this event offers a unique opportunity to see how targeted investments can drive collaboration, advance research translation, ang generate benefits that extend far beyond the life of a single grant.
Join us as we celebrate three years of innovation, collaboration and impact. Drinks and nibbles will be provided, along with opportunities to connect with colleagues, reflect on the achievements of Catalyst-funded projects, and look ahead to the next chapter of the program.
About the Catalyst Grant Scheme
The Catalyst Grant Scheme provides targeted funding to support South Australian-led collaborative research projects that address local health system needs, are delivered in collaboration across institutions, and prioritise effective health consumer involvement.
Funding for the Catalyst Scheme has been provided through generous support from The Hospital Research Foundation Group (2023 - 2026), the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation (2023 - 2025), and Cancer Council SA (2024 - 2025).
Over the past three years, Catalyst has established itself as a trusted collaborative funding scheme and has resulted in a portfolio of funded projects, all of which demonstrate:
Strong alignment with an identified need of a health service(s);
Cross-sector and multi-organisational collaboration;
Genuine consumer and community involvement; and
A focus on implementation.
