After the success of our previous events, and with strong investor interest driving momentum in the healthcare sector, HealthInvest is returning to showcase some of Australia’s leading and emerging health and life sciences companies to an audience of professional and retail investors.

Founder and Managing Director, Biome Australia
Blair is a health industry leader with over 15 years of global nutraceutical and probiotic experience across senior management and executive roles. Since founding Biome Australia in 2018 and launching Activated Probiotics®, he has led the company through ASX listing, international expansion into New Zealand, Canada, and the EU, and the development of a proprietary IP portfolio — including novel probiotic strains — creating significant value beyond Biome’s commercial platform. In a category dominated by multinationals, Biome has earned its place among Australia’s top probiotic brands through innovation, clinical evidence, and a solution-led approach, and is now the nation’s leading practitioner probiotic brand with a growing pharmacy presence and meaningful runway ahead. Blair serves on the boards of Complementary Medicines Australia and the International Probiotics Association, is an AICD member, and holds a Master of Marketing from Monash University.

CEO and Managing Director, Dimerix
Nina has over thirty years' pharmaceutical industry experience, spanning leadership roles in investor relations, business development, intellectual property, and product development. Prior to Dimerix, she was a Commercial Director for Acrux Limited (ASX: ACR), successfully commercialising multiple global products. She has also served as Director of Commercialisation and IP for Immuron Limited (ASX: IMC) and spent six years in product development at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (UK). In addition to Dimerix, Nina is Non-Executive Chairperson for SYNthesis BioVentures and Non-Executive Director for Imagion Biosystems (ASX: IBX). She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutics, a Pharmacology Bachelor's, a Masters IP Law and an Executive MBA.

CEO, Micro-X
Kingsley Hall is Chief Executive Officer of Micro-X, having been appointed in April 2023 after joining the company in February 2020 as CFO and Company Secretary. He brings more than 25 years of experience across finance and operational leadership roles in public and private companies, including private equity, technology and media. Before Micro-X, Kingsley held a number of senior operational roles, with responsibility for sales, operations and profit and loss outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Economics.

CEO and Managing Director, Racura Oncology
Dr Daniel Tillett is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Racura Oncology. He has more than 25 years of biotech leadership experience across strategy, commercial operations, IP, licensing, sales, marketing and fundraising. He has a PhD from the University of New South Wales and has more than 40 scientific publications and granted patents.

Co-Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, SomnoMed
Karen Borg has held senior roles in FTSE 100-250 medical device, technology, consumer products and government services organisations. She was most recently CEO of Catholic Healthcare Ltd, having previously led Healthdirect and served as inaugural CEO of Jobs for NSW. Karen was formerly President (Asia Pacific & Middle East) of ResMed (ASX: RMD) and held senior roles with Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices in Australia and the US. She began her career in global business development and marketing with Goodman Fielder, Nestlé and Revlon. Karen serves on the boards of Optiscan Ltd (ASX: OIL) and KOPWA, and was previously on the Board of The North Foundation and served as Interim Chair of the Australian Vaccine Research Alliance. She was a NSW finalist for Telstra Business Woman of the Year 2017.
