What herbs do you like to eat? What herbs grow well in the Inner West of Sydney? Discover the variety of herbs, their qualities, requirements to grow well and uses for cooking, health and applications in the garden.

Learn how to grow herbs in an environmentally friendly and labour-reducing fashion! Gardeners of all types are welcome, from beginners to experts.

This workshop will involve practical demonstrations and exercises in our small space edible garden, including deadheading, replanting and propagating. You will get to take home a choice of 3 herbs for your potted garden, raised or garden bed.

Who: This is presented by the Inner West Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council and as numbers are limited, the workshop is free and gives preference to residents of Inner West Council area. Please join the waitlist if you live outside the area and we will let you know if a spot becomes available.

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully, please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings and contains an accessible toilet.
