Tips for building healthy soil and keeping pests at bay naturally
What to plant as the weather warms up for the best vegie crop
Practical skills in seed sowing and taking cuttings - with plants to take home
Please wear covered shoes and bring a bag for your new seedlings and cuttings.

As we celebrate our local environment, this workshop is the perfect way to connect with nature right at home. Riverfest is all about caring for our river catchment and the ecosystems around it - and a thriving garden helps create greener, cooler, more resilient neighbourhoods.

Who: This workshop is provided free to residents of the Inner West local government area. This is presented by the Inner West Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council and as numbers are limited, the workshop gives preference to residents of Inner West Council area. Search by address at Find Your Local Council - Office of Local Government NSW website to find your local government area, if you're unsure. Proof of residential address will be required. Please join the waitlist if you live outside the area and we will let you know if a spot becomes available.
Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings and contains an accessible toilet.
