Healthy Fire for Healthy Koala Habitat Field Day

Koalas need healthy ecosystems to thrive, and healthy koala habitat was traditionally managed with fire. Since colonization, how fire has been used in our landscape has changed, and with it the health of our eucalypt forests.

Join us for a practical workshop where we can learn how our First Nations People use fire to bring back the health of our open forests. We will hear from Jagun Alliance - local experts in the field, see a site that had fire applied last year, and (if conditions allow) take part in a cultural burn on Country.
