We’re on a mission to raise $25k over Mental Health Month (October) and to kick things off (literally) we have a huge announcement to make!

In collaboration with Perth Soccer Club (@perthsoccerclub) we’re bringing you the biggest charity soccer game to hit the hospo scene.

This will be a double header with both a women’s and a men’s match being played on the legendary Dorrien Gardens main pitch.

Both teams will be made up of active members of our local hospitality scene and all profits will go towards our $25k target in support of Healthy Kind Menu.

The bar will be open, the BBQ’s will be working overtime and the vibes will be high.

Who are Healthy Mind Menu (@healthymindmenu)? Top chefs, leading hospitality industry figures and mental health advocates joined forces in 2018 to create Healthy Mind Menu Inc. It was formed to identify and address mental health issues in the workplace and investigate ways to better support the mental wellbeing of WA’s hospitality industry staff.

Who are Mise en Misplaced (@mise.en.misplaced)? The brainchild of Loco General Pty Ltd, the group behind local coffee shops Obi Coffee and Slow Daze Coffee. This platform was created to support active fundraising and collaborative efforts to increase the discussion around mental health within our industry.

Where will the money go? This year it will go to the Healthy Mind Menu toolkit - which is an online course/LMS developed to up skill managers, small biz owners, supervisors and HR on the psychosocial factors affecting mental health. It closes out a 2 year project with ECU.
