Event description

Why this matters:
In the face of growing pressures and challenges, exhaustion, fatigue, and burnout are becoming increasingly common in individuals and organisations worldwide. As leaders, it's more important than ever to support the wellbeing of our staff, but we can't do this effectively if we're not taking care of ourselves first.

What to expect:
This workshop takes a deep dive into the core dimensions of wellbeing - physical, emotional, organisational, existential - with a particular focus on leadership.

Through exploring your personal values, you will piece together practical strategies for renewing your internal energy, so you can recharge, replenish, repair, and restore, becoming a more effective leader, partner, and friend.

By the end of this workshop, you'll have a better understanding of the importance of recovery, along with actionable steps to combat burnout, and how to own well-being as a leader at your workplace.

Who this is for:

Owners, managers, senior staff, and anyone wanting to develop their leadership skills, or understand more about how to improve general well-being at work.

The Facilitator:
Joshua has been in the wellness industry for the past 12 years.
After spending a few years in corporate managing another startup, as well as being a DJ running his own promotions company in Auckland, he saw there was a large gap between people’s mental and physical health, including his own.

Joshua then spent 2 years as head coach & nutritionist for one of the world's top trainers before breaking away to bridge that gap with a more holistic approach.
Through his own battle with depression, anxiety, losing family members to drug use, & several friends to suicide, he now makes it his mission to help others out of their dark places and ensure no one has to be there alone.

Josh teaches individuals and large corporations how to mitigate “stress” as a whole and take back control of their lives. Through private retreats, in person workshops, online programming, regular check-ins and evidence based protocols to integrate into large businesses and peoples lives. Through an evidence based approach, Joshua teaches nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and how to appropriately regulate other aspects of ones wellness.

Josh holds a bachelors degree majoring in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition, XPT Breathwork and Ice Bath facilitation, and is currently studying Clinical Nutrition.
