About this event
Let’s get the hospitality community together.
Join Healthy Mind Menu at Pirate Life for our End of Year Sundowner an afternoon to connect, catch up and celebrate the people who’ve supported better mental health and wellbeing across WA hospitality this year.
We especially want to recognise the incredible venues and teams who supported Mental Health Month, alongside our HMM members, partners and wider industry community.
With many hospitality teams heading into one of the busiest periods of the year, it’s also a timely opportunity to check in with the industry and hear what’s happening on the ground.
The Hospo Debrief
As part of the afternoon, we’ll break into a few relaxed conversations about what it’s really like working in hospitality right now.
What are the biggest pressures facing you and your team? What supports good mental health at work? What gets in the way? And what would actually make a difference?
We want the real-world perspective from the people who know the industry best.
These conversations will help inform Healthy Mind Menu’s work developing practical resources to support hospitality workplaces to better understand and manage psychosocial hazards.
No presentations. Just good conversation, good people and a chance to have your say.
Your first drink and nibbles are on us, with non-alcoholic options available and a cash bar thereafter.
Everyone in the hospitality community is welcome — whether you’re a HMM member, Mental Health Month fundraiser, venue owner, manager, chef, bartender, front-of-house, student, supplier, partner or simply someone who cares about creating a healthier hospitality industry.
Free to attend. Registration essential.
