    The Rotary Club of Greater Dandenong and Endeavour Hills, in conjunction with the Rotaract Club of Casey Cardinia invites you to join us at our Mental Health Forum ' Healthy Minds'.  The event is suitable for adults and young people from 12 years and over.

    This event is a fundraiser for Australian Rotary Health - Mental Health Research. 

    Australian Rotary Health's, Mardi Shepherd will be presenting on Mental Health in the 0–12-years age group.

    Our Keynote Speaker, Greg de Moore, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Author, based at West Mead Hospital in Sydney is absolutely inspiring. 

    Greg works as a clinician, teacher and researcher in the fields of neuropsychiatry, general hospital psychiatry, deliberate self-harm and the history of medicine. He oversees the psychiatry education of young doctors as they work towards becoming psychiatrists.

    Guest Speakers: Matt Degruchy, was diagnosed with Stargardt's Disease at 9 years of age. Matt's hope is to encourage other people around the world with disabilities to live bigger and better lives and to breakthrough the barriers life throws at them.

    Frida Umuhoza and her family were victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide against the Tutsis. Frida will tell their incredible story of her miraculous survival, resilience, bravery, determination and perseverance.

    There will be representatives from Operation Newstart (Operation Newstart addresses the needs of students at risk of disengagement from education, in the middle years of their secondary schooling) and Headspace at this event.

    Our panel of speakers will be available for a Q & A session which will be followed by book sales & signing and a light supper.

    This is a DO NOT MISS event, which will leave you feeling more informed about mental health issues and how to deal with them.
