Healthy on the Hudson: Bike Yoga with Off the Strength
Event description
Learn how you can utilize your bike to stretch and strengthen your body with this yoga practice.
Bike Yoga has been designed to address common issues that are universally felt throughout vigorous cycling or just day-to-day life.
KR Jones is an avid NYC biker, and he recognizes how daily commuting or leisurely riding around the city can take a huge toll on the body. As a yoga practitioner, KR finds it extremely helpful to extend his practice outside of just the yoga mat. Using your bike as a prop for counterbalance, we will begin to explore our bodies while breathing life into underserved areas and start to challenge ourselves through different shapes.
Bike Yoga is open to all levels of practice. Bring your bike with an open mind and heart.
Classes are free and open to the public, all season long.
Tone House is offering a limited number of promotional passes to their NoMad studio. Visit tonehouse.com/newathlete/ and use code HOTH10 for a reduced rate.
