IIn this workshop I will expose how our food is grown, and how soil health and the lack thereof affects us.

The title of the workshop says it all really "Healthy Soil = Healthy Plants = Healthy People" in fact it actually goes one further, it also "= a Healthy Planet. You simply cannot grow healthy food fit for human consumption in unhealthy soil!

World Soil figures reveal that less than 11% of soil used today to grow food is considered healthy and in fact most is degraded or biologically dead. We all need to understand what this means.

The health of the community is largely a direct reflection of soil health; we are simply not getting from our food what we should in term if nutrition.

I will show you how you can get back control over your food no matter where you live, and how your front garden and back garden, balcony, or vertical space can be a place to produce nutrient rich food grown by your own hand.

I take the hard work out of gardening by mimicking nature, no digging, no turning heaps of soil over, just a simple quick task that just takes minutes each day will get you there.
