Healthy Soils for Weed Management 2.0
Event description
Following the great success of South Gippsland Landcare Network’s (SGLN) Healthy Soils for Weed Management event last November we invite you back to get up close and see real world examples of how managing soils on farm can reduce weed infestations taking hold.
Prominent soil scientist Declan McDonald is back to take attendees on a guided walk through his property in Kardella South and witness first-hand how improving soils can have a direct impact on weed reduction including ragwort and achieve a myriad of other on-farm benefits.
Declan is a Principal Soil Scientist with ReGen Soils. He has extensive experience working in agriculture and production horticulture. Skilled in Regenerative Agriculture Declan has worked closely with farmers and other land managers on a range of projects with Landcare and Producer groups.
