Heaps Normal Presents: TSEBA ft. Lucy Cliché, Made by Tsuki + Lucca BP b2b Farnozz
Event description
Join us for the third instalment in the Heaps Normal Presents series with this monolithic line up of Eora-based producers and MCs.
TSEBA (Astral People) takes inspiration from legends like Todd Terry and Kerri Chandler in an attempt to capture the sound of House music as it pivoted from being underground music of the urban centres in the USA, to an internationally celebrated commercial phenomenon. The music producer/3D motion designer/animator’s latest audio & visual journey, ‘Uncanny Valley’ explored the delicate balance of human & machine through 4 moving tracks. It follows his back-to-back Dim Mak releases “Sensei” and “Scream,” as well as his twisted remake of “Warp 1.9” by The Bloody Beetroots featuring Steve Aoki.
Lucy Cliché is an ever evolving project exploring intersections between techno, industrial and electro. Using an all hardware set-up her music delivers a hard bitten exploration of how physicality and the ethereal can interact in music. Heavy bass rhythms lock into pounding drums, washed over with synth chords and acid bleeps.
Made by Tsuki made his SHADES debut with 'My Little Dark Age' serving up 300kmph techno blending the rave culture of the 90’s with the nostalgia of the early 00’s.
And finally, Lucca BP b2b Farnozz: two familiar faces around the SHADES orbit. These are DJs that have killed it time and time again in our concrete jungle known as SHADES.
