Hear Yourself Again | An In-Person Class with Megan Rachelle
Description
We spend years learning how to listen outward.
What will they think?
What should I do?
What is the responsible choice?
What would make them happy?
What makes sense?
What does everyone else need from me?
And sometimes we become so good at hearing everything outside of ourselves that we don't realize how difficult it has become to hear what's happening inside.
Not because your inner voice disappeared.
You may have simply gotten very, very practiced at overriding it.
Hear Yourself Again is an invitation to turn the volume down on everything else for 90 minutes and get curious about you.
Not the version of you who knows what she's supposed to say.
Not the version who can explain everybody else's perspective.
Not the version who automatically makes the practical choice.
You.
We'll explore the ways your body communicates before your brain has constructed an explanation.
We'll notice where want, should, fear, obligation, and intuition can become tangled together.
We'll look at the moments when you already knew something—and talked yourself out of knowing it.
And we'll begin practicing something deceptively simple:
hearing yourself without immediately overriding what you hear.
This isn't about making impulsive decisions or treating every feeling as an instruction.
It's about rebuilding a relationship with your own internal information.
Because self-trust doesn't mean you're always right.
It means you're willing to listen to yourself.
What we'll explore
Internal cues. What happens in your body before your mind starts explaining?
Want vs. should. Learning to notice the difference between desire, expectation, obligation, fear, and conditioning.
The override. Those tiny moments when you know what you feel or want—and immediately begin arguing with yourself.
Outside authority. Where did you learn whose voice mattered more than yours?
Self-trust. Not blind certainty. A willingness to hear yourself, consider what you know, and make increasingly intentional choices.
And underneath all of it:
What do I actually want?
This class is for you if...
You're excellent at understanding everyone else's perspective.
You frequently second-guess yourself.
You know how to be responsible, capable, accommodating, reasonable, or “fine”—but aren't always sure what you want.
You've ever made a decision and realized afterward, I knew.
Or you're simply curious about developing a stronger relationship with yourself.
You don't need to arrive with answers.
That's rather the point.
Please note: This is an educational and experiential personal-development class and is not psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis treatment.
