Description

Maybe you keep choosing the same kind of relationship.

Maybe you procrastinate on something you genuinely want.

Maybe you know exactly where you need a boundary—and still don't set it.

Maybe you overthink, shut down, people-please, over-function, avoid, control, chase, disappear, or find yourself repeating something you have already spent years understanding.

And the frustrating part?

You know better.

But knowing better and doing differently are not the same thing.

In Why Do I Keep Doing This?, we're going underneath the behavior.

We'll explore the beliefs, learned patterns, identity, emotional experiences, and nervous-system familiarity that can make a behavior feel completely logical—even when another part of you desperately wants to change it.

This isn't about judging the pattern or trying to bully yourself into better behavior.

It's about understanding:

Why did this pattern develop?
What has it been doing for you?
Why does it still feel familiar, necessary, safe, or true?
And does it still belong in the life you're creating now?

We'll talk. We'll write. We'll notice things. We'll connect dots.

You may laugh at yourself a little.

You may have an ohhhhhhh... THAT'S why moment.

And you'll leave with something more useful than another list of things you're supposed to stop doing:

a deeper understanding of yourself.

What we'll explore

Facts vs. beliefs. What actually happened—and what did you learn to believe because of it?

Pattern formation. Why repetition isn't necessarily evidence that you're lazy, broken, unmotivated, or “self-sabotaging.”

Nervous-system familiarity. Why familiar can sometimes register as safer than unfamiliar—even when the unfamiliar thing is what you consciously want.

Identity. The ways we unconsciously protect our existing understanding of who we are.

The pattern underneath the pattern. Instead of only trying to change what you're doing, we'll get curious about why doing it makes sense.

And finally:

Who do you want to be now?

This class is for you if...

You already have some self-awareness but keep finding yourself in patterns you don't fully understand.

You've ever thought, “I KNOW this. Why am I still doing it?”

You're curious about yourself and willing to look underneath behavior rather than simply labeling it good or bad.

You don't need to be in crisis.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You just need to be willing to get curious.

Please note: This is an educational and experiential personal-development class and is not psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis treatment.
