HEARING VOICES DAY 3 VOICE PROFILING TRAINING

Who are Voices Vic?  
 
Uniting's Voices Vic is an award-winning and research supported specialist program improving the wellbeing and recovery of people who hear voices and experience other unusual experiences. ​​​

Led by peers with lived & living experience in hearing voices and mental health, Voices Vic provides dynamic recovery groups for adults & youth. We also facilitate trainings across Australia for organisations and individuals who work and care for voice hearers and voice hearers themselves.​​  

Training dates for this event - DAY 3 VOICE PROFILE

Tuesday 25th November 2025 - 9:45am - 3:30pm

DAY 3: Voice Profiling  

This training teaches the technique of Voice Profiling, a useful tool to build greater awareness and understanding of a person’s voices.  

Participants will learn about: 

• The principles of the Voice Profiling technique & how to apply them when supporting a voice hearer 

• Building confidence and compassion when working with people’s voice hearing experiences  

• The process and benefits of creating a mind-map

***DAY 3 training is suitable for voice hearers, family, friends & carers of voice hearers, lived experience workers & mental health professionals who work with voice hearers. 

Please Note: The prerequisite to do Day 3 Voice Profiling is to have completed Day 1 and 2 of The Hearing Voices Approach Foundations

Funding: The Department of Health has provided funding that can be accessed by organisations and individuals within Victoria for subsidised access to training. 

Eligible participants must be residing in Victoria and:

• Have lived or living experience as a voice hearer (unwaged participants receive a no cost space)

• Are a family member, friend or unpaid carer of a voice hearer (no cost)

• Are a concession card holder (no cost)

• Are a peer worker in a mental health service,* or

• Work in a public health or community service that supports voice hearers*

*If you meet this criteria you are eligible for a reduced rate of $50 per person, per day.
