Join us as we host foodie and author Charlotte Ree as she speaks on her latest release part memoir, part cookbook, Heartbake.

In this fearless and heartfelt memoir of food, love and self-discovery, Charlotte Ree shares stories from the heart to soothe the soul, and the stomach in the wake of turbulent life events.

Charlotte’s prose is heart-wrenching, hilarious and hunger-inducing in equal measure.

Included in her book are 23 recipes ranging from family heirlooms like Mama’s spinach pie and Pa’s pesto to Charlotte’s famous burnt Basque cheesecake, better-than-sex tiramisu (based on a date gone awry) and a filthy martini.

Books will be available for purchase and signing on the night provided by Harry Hartog Warringah Mall.

Charlotte Ree is an obsessive food lover and avid home cook and recipe developer. When she isn’t in the kitchen, you can find Charlotte working with some of Australia’s biggest authors as part of her day job as Head of Marketing for a book publisher. Heartbake is Charlotte’s second book after the success of her first Just Desserts.
