Heathy Back Course - Taster or Refresher Session

THE HEALTHY BACK TASTER CLASS and PROGRAM
This taster class will give you an expereince of the clinically proven 6-WEEK-HEALTHY-BACK-COURSE , that is coming back to Beecfoft and online in Term 3 (dates to be confirmed). It will also give you some gentle exercise to practice at home in the meantime to help strenthen your back and manage your back pain.
This Taster Class and the full Healthy Back Program is for anyone with:
- History of ongoing back pain
- Occasional flare ups of back pain
- Anyone wanting to maintain a strong and pain free back
- Most people with neck pain
During the class, Morag will guide you through a proven regime of yoga-based stretching and strengthen exercises. You will learn about your core stability muscles and how to recruit them effectively to support a pain free back.
The Healthy Back Program is A VERY GENTLE PROGRAM that will help you tune into your body and spine and it will teach you how to move safely and gain confidence to move within your comfort zone. Morag will guide you to practice safely and modify the exercises to suit your
body. Over the 6 weeks you will lear progressive exercises, plus learn how to relax and release tension from tight muscles and calm your mind
too! As well as a happy back, the Healthy Back Programme leads to improvements in feeling composed, clear minded, elated, energised, agreeable, confident in dealing with stress and satisfied with life.
FACE to FACE or ONLINE. We encourage you to come to the face to face session, so that we can provide the most effective guidance and support. However if face to face is not practical and you prefer an online format then please book the online ticket and Morag will give you a call to explain how to utilise the online format.

- This program is ideal for anyone who has long term back pain.
- It is fabulous for those who have a tendency for back pain or sporadic occurrences
- For anyone wanting to maintain a healthy pain free spine.
- It is suitable for everyone, all ages, all abilities and most health conditions can be catered for.
- It may not be suitable, just yet, if you have recent/acute back pain/surgery.
Check with your health professional before starting this program if:
- you have had very recent back surgery (in the last month)
- you have an acute disc injury, where you back is in spasm
