On Friday, October 20th, HEATWAVES will premiere season 1 at The Sun Theatre Yarraville at 6:30 PM. And YOU are invited.

About:

HEATWAVES is an anthology series. Each episode seeks to bring together a community of passionate creatives allowing cross-disciplinary collaboration to bring a bespoke visual story to life. Cultivating a platform for collaboration between filmmaker and subject, exploring new connections, bonds, and networks within the community. Each chapter highlights a uniquely individual creative based in Naarm, brought to life by a director with their style of storytelling.

Our space seeks to become a sanctuary for authentic expression, where being different is celebrated. Together, we rewrite the creative landscape, igniting a revolution of ideas.“As artists, we can measure creativity by how far it spreads.”

Support Us:

A limited number of items from the HEATWAVES merchandise store will be made available on the night to help raise funds for the production of HEATWAVES and cover costs for the cinema screening, as this is a purely self-funded passion project.

Drinks and Refreshments:

Candy and refreshment bar will be open at the venue for service. All food and drinks are allowed in the cinema.
