Our Commitments to Students In The Age Of AI will examine the changes we need and innovations we will embed to transform student experiences of tertiary education in the years ahead.

It is a time when students’ experiences are being challenged by a tertiary education system that has never been under so much pressure. The time for radical change is now and we need to prioritise students through our commitments to them.

The elements of change needed encompass several interconnected areas. They begin with the direct experience of lifelong learners, but extend beyond this to include improving staff wellbeing within our learning providers, ensuring they are well-positioned to deliver outstanding learning experiences. These changes also embrace the evolving needs and role of employers, both in defining the skills they will demand for future work and in their partnership with staff and students. Finally, they will engage the broader external community as partners, funders, endorsers, and providers of social licence, enabling educational institutions to make meaningful commitments to their students.

National and international experts will address key themes and take part in interactive roundtables and workshops in plenary and parallel sessions.
