Heide Arts Industry Event 2025

Are you an art student, emerging artist, writer, or aspiring curator trying to establish your career in the arts industry? Join artists and curators Nicholas Currie, Coral Guan and Cristea Nian Zhao, and poet and editor Panda Wong, to hear about the challenges of making a living through creative practice.

Topics include interning, volunteering, networking, freelancing, seeking opportunities and applying for grants; building resilience and how to get your work recognised, and making contacts in the competitive creative industry. There will be an informal networking session after the event with the guest speakers.
