The preparation

No previous experience is required. Join with an open mind and an intention to surrender to the process.

Do not eat 3 hours before the session. If it is necessary to eat something, light foods such as fruits are ideal.

Refrain from alcohol, drugs, and meat for a couple of days before the session and avoid coffee on the day of the session.

Please arrive a little early to give yourself time to settle into space.

Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.

What happens during a session?

You lie down on a mat, and some music is played. At times, the facilitator will touch or press some of the chakras or meridian points on your body; at other times, she will simply hold or move her hands above you. You may experience the activation of energy in multiple ways:

Physical

For some people, it's a very physical experience of involuntary movement. As the amount of energy begins to increase, the physical body can begin to move with the energy - or tension patterns begin to unwind through the body. However, most of the process of Kundalini Awakening is internal and cannot be seen from the outside.

Energetic

You start to connect with more subtle layers of reality. Feeling energetic sensations while the physical body is still. This can be sensations of heat, tingling sensations, surges of energy up the spine, or feeling the energy in different parts of the body (ex. chakras, hands, feet, etc.)

Visual

You can connect to the more subtle layers of reality that you can not see with your physical eyes. This can manifest as seeing colors, symbols, receiving downloads, a sense of 'knowing', astral travel, and connecting with souls who have passed or beings from different dimensions. Stay open to the magic!

Emotional

As the amount of energy increases, your Light Body will begin to purify and flush out the emotional residue that you have been holding in your system. You can start to feel sad, angry, etc., without "a reason." It is an opportunity to release. Allow any tears, laughter, or other vocal expression that comes through. This is energy in motion. It may manifest as anything from bliss to emotional catharsis. This is a safe space for you to release and let go.

The path of surrender means no resistance to what is, being in total acceptance. That is where the magic happens.
