Held in Motion - Embodied Movement
Description
HELD IN MOTION
A morning of embodied movement
What does it feel like to be held by your own body?
So much of our time is spent in the mind, thinking, managing, controlling, looking outside ourselves for something to anchor us.
Held in Motion is an invitation to soften that grip and get curious about what happens when we begin to listen inward. Through gentle, somatic movement, we’ll explore what it feels like to be with our bodies, rather than constantly trying to manage them. To move with presence, curiosity, and trust.
No choreography. No performance. No right way to move. Just space to feel, notice, and explore.
What is somatic movement?
Somatic movement is guided by internal experience rather than external form. It's movement led by sensation, impulse, breath, and rhythm, not choreography or aesthetics. It’s an opportunity to get curious about what’s happening in the body, and to explore moving in a way that feels intuitive and personal.
