Friends of Jubilee Pool (FoJP) is a group of passionate local community volunteers who saved Jubilee Pool from permanent closure.

In October 2022, Jubilee Pool & Gym became the first community-run swimming pool in Bristol.

FoJP’s objects are to promote and provide/assist in provision of leisure/recreation facilities for the people of Knowle and surrounding areas, in the interests of their social welfare. FoJP is accountable for all aspects of the pool building, including its repair, maintenance and renewal, and for delivering a swimming pool and gym service to the community. The aim is to make Jubilee Pool even more inclusive and accessible, ensuring it has a sustainable future.
