Helping Hands for the Homeless
Make & Create!
A full-day holiday program for kids aged 8-14
Get ready for a fun-filled day where creativity meets kindness! Kids will cook up delicious meals, bake sweet treats, and craft essential care packs - all to be donated to support the amazing work of the Salvation Army Community.
It’s a hands-on, feel-good experience where kids will learn the power of giving back and leave feeling proud of what they’ve created for others.
Program Details:
Time: 9:30am - 2:30pm
Cost: $100 per child
Location: Salvation Army Community Centre, Level 1, 426 Church Street, North Parramatta NSW 2150
Ages: 8-14 years (Minimum age: 8)
Each day we will be learning about different communities and preparing packs of love for them.
Golden Moments: Packs will be going to Aged Care facilities
Sweet Treats: Will be going to a mix of our charity partners
What to Bring:
Nut-free morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
Water bottle
Closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes (No crocs, please - safety first!)
