HER. is not a formal seminar, networking event or sales presentation. It is a social beauty experience centred around beauty conversations, practical advice and the exciting next chapter of Beyond Beauty by her.
Beyond Beauty by Her is a local mother-daughter beauty business run by Ritu and Mitali with studios in Warragul and Drouin, built around personalised beauty, care and confidence.
Get Ready with Karissa
Meet premium makeup artist Karissa — and watch her work live.
With extensive experience across professional makeup, Melbourne events, Melbourne Cup clients, models, weddings, and special-occasion work, Karissa brings a level of artistry and industry experience that guests don't often get the opportunity to experience up close.
During Get Ready with Karissa, she will create a polished, wearable makeup look live while talking openly through the choices she makes.
This is not a formal makeup class.
It is an open, interactive conversation where you can watch an experienced artist work, ask your own makeup questions and hear practical advice you can actually use.
Guests will also be able to submit questions before the event, allowing Karissa to shape the conversation around the makeup concerns women attending want help with.
For those wanting more personalised support, there will also be an opportunity to learn more about 1:1 makeup lessons with Karissa after the event.
Beyond the Mirror: All About Brow & Lip Tattooing with Mitali
Curious about cosmetic tattooing? Have an old brow tattoo? Wondering what options are available now, how natural they can look, or whether permanent makeup is right for you?
With five years of hands-on experience in beauty and now specialising in permanent makeup for brows and lips, Mitali brings her practical beauty experience into an open PMU Q&A focused on the questions women want answered.
Guests can ask questions about brow tattooing, lip blush, old or faded tattoos, modern techniques, colour, shape, pain, healing, longevity, maintenance and suitability.
Visual examples will also be available so you can better understand the different possibilities and see how modern permanent makeup can be personalised to the individual.
More than a beauty event
Between the beauty experiences, there will be plenty of time to enjoy Violet & Ivvy, share food and drinks, meet other local women, take photographs and chat personally with the Beyond Beauty by her team.
Guests will also have the chance to meet Ritu, owner of Beyond Beauty by her, whose decades of hands-on experience span threading, brows, signature accupressure facials and holistic beauty treatments. She is a huge part of the knowledge and care behind the business and will be available throughout the evening for informal conversations and questions.

HER. is designed for everyone who enjoy thoughtful experiences, beautiful surroundings and genuine conversations around beauty and confidence. Whether you're already a Beyond Beauty by Her client or discovering us for the first time, you're warmly welcome.
- Do I need to be interested in permanent makeup to attend?
Not at all.
While we'll be introducing our new permanent makeup services, the evening is about much more than PMU. You'll enjoy makeup conversations, great food, beautiful company and practical beauty advice throughout the evening.
- Is this a makeup class?
No.
Rather than a traditional classroom-style masterclass, you'll experience relaxed, interactive conversations led by our resident makeup artist, Karissa. The focus is on practical advice, answering real questions and sharing professional insights in a welcoming environment.
- Will there be opportunities to ask questions?
Absolutely.
Both the makeup and permanent makeup conversations are designed to be interactive, and we'll also collect questions from guests before the event to help shape the evening around what attendees genuinely want to know.
- Can I come on my own?
Absolutely.
Many guests will be attending with friends, while others will be coming on their own. Our team will be there to warmly welcome everyone and help create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where meeting new people feels natural.
- What should I wear?
There is no formal dress code.
We encourage guests to wear something they feel comfortable and confident in. Think elevated smart casual
- Can I bring a friend?
Of course.
HER. has been designed as an experience to enjoy together, and we offer a Companion Pair ticket for guests who would like to attend with a friend.
- Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes.
Guests will enjoy a welcome glass of sparkling on arrival, along with shared charcuterie boards and artisan pizzas throughout the evening.
