A crowd favourite, HER Story returns to the Surf Coast this year at the stunning Sands Torquay! Join us on Sunday, May 25th, for a special afternoon of inspiration, storytelling, and connection as we celebrate women from all walks of life. This event raises funds for Art of the Minds, a non-profit dedicated to reducing stigma surrounding mental illness through communication and community connection.
We are thrilled to announce our lineup:
- Kabinga Mazaba – Mental health expert and best-selling author of 'C.O.N.F.R.O.N.T: Reclaim your Life', sharing insights on confronting past traumas and embracing self-love.
- Rachel Bishop – 'Endo warrior' and advocacy through art.
- Rose Hodge OAM – Former Councillor of Surfcoast Shire for over 20 years, 5 times Mayor and local community legend!
- Live performances by:
- Jasmine Jade – 2024 Art of the Minds Surf Coast Songwriting finalist
- Melody Moon & The Secret Songwriters Club
- Elizabeth Riordan – Our very own local talent and Vice President of Art of the Minds
