Session one: Fire Cider and Oxymels

There's a reason fire cider has been made in herbal households for generations. It's warming, deeply nourishing, and once you've made your own, you won't want to stop.

In this session we brew a classic fire cider from scratch and you'll jar it up to take home and finish fermenting in your own kitchen. Along the way we'll dive into the world of oxymels: ancient honey-and-vinegar herbal preparations with a long tradition of use across cultures, and one of the most versatile things you can have in a home apothecary.

You'll leave with your own jar of fire cider in progress, and a solid understanding of oxymel preparations and the plants behind them.

Once your fire cider is complete we will enjoy a little nature craft and tea.

No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity.

Includes: all materials, take-home preparations, and access to our free community pop-up clinic running after the session.
