Herbal Medicine Making Series: Sat October 5th and 12th

Build your home herbalism skills. This class is perfect for anyone wanting to make herbal remedies for themselves, family & friends. Making your own herbal remedies builds self-sufficiency and is good for your budget. At one time our ancestors knew how to make all of these preparations and it was an important part of daily and seasonal life. Reclaim this knowledge for yourself!

We will delve into traditional herbal medicine making practices and understand the how and why to use a variety of preparations. We will make herbal preparations together and learn the basic uses, history and benefits of each preparation.

Session 1 - Oct 5th will cover: Tinctures, Elixirs, Syrups, Electuaries

Session 2 - Oct 12th will cover: Infused oils, Salves, Lip Balms, Creams

Herbal medicine handouts and recipes will be available.

Upon registration students will receive a list of easily available supplies to bring to class. Herbs will be provided. Classes may be purchased as a series or individually. The best value and learning opportunity comes with attending both sessions.
