Herbs of the Amazon

Explore the cultural origins of Amazonian herbs and their links to everyday Australian products. This interactive workshop invites participants to see, touch and smell raw herbs while learning how they grow, their traditional uses and their cultural significance. Visual storytelling brings the Amazon rainforest to life, creating a respectful space for connection and learning. Presented by a South American community member, the workshop celebrates cultural heritage and encourages curiosity, understanding and belonging during Harmony Week.
