🪻🌿🌺 Enhance your cooking with home-grown herbs - and get your kids eating them for lunch!
Join the lovely Sarah Heath from Basilea Living Herbs as she takes you through all your senses, introducing you to a wonderful variety of culinary herbs you can grow at home. Sarah will be imparting some of her family favourite recipes and tips for including herbs in snacks and lunches - that even your kids will love.
This is a hands on workshop with a cooking demonstration and you will have the opportunity to taste test along the way. You will leave with new ideas and inspiration for including more herbs in your everyday cooking.
What you will learn:
- How to grow a variety of culinary herbs
- How to incorporate herbs into your daily snacks and cooking
- Learn herby lunch box snacks Sarah makes for her growing children.
What to bring:
- Please wear closed shoes
- A hat, water bottle and sunscreen

Parking:
Free onsite parking (Take the turn off from Mt Samson Rd, into Green Thumb Farm. Take the first turn to the left which leads you past a little red building (this is where you will meet Kate for the workshop)
About Sarah Heath:
Sarah is a dedicated and talented second-generation family farm owner of Basilea Living Herbs. The farm focuses on growing a local and sustainable business to ensure that every home in Brisbane, north of Brisbane and Moreton Bay areas can have locally grown, spray-free, nutritional herbs, greens and edible flowers in their kitchen garden which can be used every day in their kitchen.
Sarah is also an active member of the Queensland Herb Society, Brisbane Organic Growers Inc, and Young Farmers Connect.
